Hurray it’s Friday!!
I’m so excited because it’s actually been warm enough to bust out the summer clothes these past few days. So obviously I had to wear my favourite top that I mentioned in my ‘Affordable Spring Clothing Haul‘ post. I love the off the shoulder detail, it makes this top so different from anything that I own! It was scorching hot here yesterday so this top was the perfect one to reach for since its very light and airy, nothing sticks to you, its not tight, and you don’t even have to wear a bra with it. All of that = the perfect summer top!
I know I’m carrying two different bags in some of these pictures, but I wanted to show you guys how cute this little Banana Republic pouch is! If you don’t carry around much, or want a vacation friendly look, the pouch on its own is perfect! I like a bigger bag myself so I bought it to keep my lipsticks and liners organized in my bigger bags. The colours and floral pattern were just too cute not to buy!
Its the long weekend here in Canada and Peter is away for a bachelor party until Monday, so all the girls and I are having a girls weekend! I’m off to run a few errands before the fun begins!
Wishing everyone a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by <3
Happy Monday guys!
Last week I spent a day with my sister Jess, and my bestie Rebecca (you may recognize the name from our BFF Tag) hiking and exploring local conservation areas, and we got to talking about fun things we want to do this summer and it inspired me to sit down and start my list. I always enjoy reading other people’s ‘bucket list’ posts so I thought I would share it with all of you, and challenge you to start writing down the things you want to do this summer! Wether it be activities or even goals you want to accomplish, I find when you write them down your more likely to do them.
Is there anything I’m missing!? Let me know in the comments 🙂
Thanks for stopping by <3

Good Morning Everyone!
The new summer collections are rolling out in stores lately, which has me glued to my inbox for ‘new arrival’ e-mails from my favorite brands. Today I thought I would share some of the items I have on my wishlist! As you can easily tell, the theme is blush pinks and golds – with a pop of blue. I’ve really been making a conscious effort to stay away from more blue clothing, since that’s all I’ve been buying this spring…and I’m sure you guys are going to get tired of seeing me wearing it soon lol! I’d say I’m doing a pretty good job by distracting myself with pinks in the mean time.
Today is my first official day of full time blogger status, and I’m on my way to the hair salon and nail salon, to start this journey off right! The rain here has finally cleared up (it lasted a solid week!) so I’m excited to finally get out of the house and do some running around. On a side note; does anyone watch Carli Bybel’s YouTube channel? She’s a makeup guru who just came out with a gorgeous new limited edition eye-shadow and highlighter pallet. I pre-ordered one a month ago and finally received it in the mail on Friday, it looks amazing! I was thinking about doing a review or tutorial with it…would you guys be interested in seeing something like that? let me know!

I know there is still a good handful of people who have been meaning to pick up a few more summer essentials but still haven’t gotten around to it yet. No big deal, you can still do so but you just have to be smart about it now. You’ll want to make sure you get enough wear out of them by buying pieces that can transition into your fall wardrobe! Now that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is going on, and other retailers are getting their fall merchandise in, it makes this process super easy because a lot of the fall colour schemes are out! Olive green and Cognac are my fav, can you tell? haha!
I made up a couple collages to give you an example of how you can buy the fall fashions now, and still look on trend for the summer. Plus when the cool weather rolls around you already have a jump start on your fall wardrobe! It’s a Win Win! I chose an olive green tank, and stone colour jeggings as my transitional pieces(I just added them to my shopping cart on AE.com so it was only fitting to do a post around them!).

In other news – I’m going away for a week to a place that has no cell reception or Wifi! I’m going to pre-write my posts for Wed/Fri/Mon and then just schedule them to post on their own. Unfortunately I wont be able to check my blog to make sure the posts are being published correctly, so fingers crossed it all work seamlessly!
Thanks for reading!
