I can’t believe how fast March has come and gone already! I was racking my brain trying to think of all the products I’ve been loving this month and I realized something… I don’t have that many new favorites because I’m still hooked on all the other favorites I chose for January and February! So this months list is a lot smaller, but the products I did chose are all amazing!
1. Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate – here
This Serum is a recent purchase, and I am loving the results so far! I’m a side sleeper and have been noticing fine lines under my eyes a lot more lately (I blame my sleeping position). I needed something strong that was going to help the lines appear less visible and also prevent more, I heard really good things about Kiehl’s products and thought I would give this one a try. Boy am I glad I did, I noticed a defence after only a week! I can’t wait to see the results after a few months.
2. Biotin – here
I’m sure everyone already knows what Biotin is, but for those of you who don’t know, it’s a supplement that is known for helping your hair and nails grow strong and long! I’m planning on doing a separate post about my results with biotin after 6 months of taking it, but the results are too good to wait. I’ve been taking them for a few weeks now and I am already seeing a difference in my nails. They look and feel much stronger and shinier then before! I haven’t noticed any difference in my hair yet but I’ve got my fingers crossed for longer locks come summer.
3. L’oreal True Match Concealer – here
This stuff is my savior! I have tried a thousand different concealers for my under eyes, in hopes to find one that doesn’t crease up in my fine lines, which makes them more obvious. I am so happy to say that I have finally found one (insert praise hands emoji) and it doesn’t break the bank! It’s only $10 and works wonders for ‘baking’ your makeup or just for concealing spots.
4. Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder – here
I have been searching for a powder that can set my foundation without looking too powdery, and this is it! I’ve used a lot of different powders but none of them really locked my foundation in place like this one does. I can finally wear sunglasses without fearing that the little nose pads are going to take my makeup off with them…if you know what I mean by this then you know how annoying it is when this happens!
** Update: This product was perfect for cooler Canadian temps in march but now that its summer I have noticed this powder isn’t heavy duty enough for setting your makeup in humid temps. It’s still good but you will unfortunately still suffer from the sunglass pad marks :(. Now I use this product and ‘bake’ it onto the bridge of my nose, its great for heat and humidity! **
5. CoCo Chanel Book – here
This book is such an inspirational read, CoCo Chanel is a legend and after reading this book I can see why. This version of her biography is illustrated by Megan Hess, which makes it an easy and fun read. If you love fashion and want to feel inspired, this book is for you!
6. Aloe Vera Infused Socks – here
I’ve mentioned these socks before in my Pamper Routine post, but I wanted to mention them again because I’ve been wearing them so much lately. With warmer temps just around the corner, that means my feet need to be sandal ready. So every night before bed I lather them up with my favorite foot lotion (also mentioned in my pamper routine post) and then slip them into my aloe vera infused socks. The combination of these two products works wonders on dry feet!
