Birthday Haul!

Hey guys!

It’s been a week since you’ve heard from me, I skipped my Wednesday and Friday posts last week for my birthday. So today’s post is a round up of everything I bought for myself on my birthday & what Peter gave me as a gift! But let me start off by saying I had the worst luck ever on my actual birthday (last Thursday) and my car had an electrical fire as we were driving home from I ended up with a huge tow truck bill as my main birthday present…which kind of put a damper on things but my birthday celebration on Friday night made up for it.

Okay lets jump into the good stuff, first up is makeup!

I always buy fresh makeup the day before my birthday, because lets face it… the first application with new makeup is magical to say the least.. and what better day to feel that magic than on my birthday!

img_5222On my actual Birthday Peter took me to the new Nordstrom in Toronto because we finally got one here! That was my one birthday request, but surprisingly I didn’t find much to buy that I thought was worth the price.

What I did leave with was:  Sunnies *in rose gold / Sugarfina Bubble Bears /

 Scarf /

This gorgeous blanket scarf! Its the perfect size for feeling extra cozy in the fall, and is a really gorgeous gray/olive colour.

Hat / Leggings /

Next stop was to the GAP and I fell in love with this adorable pink pom pom hat! I thought it would be so cute with a leather jacket.. the perfect girly/edgy combo.

Then to Old Navy for my favorite leggings, these are high rise and soooo flattering, they look and feel like Lulu Lemon leggings but a fraction of the price!
…..and last but not least Peter’s gift to me from my Birthday Wishlist post!

Thanks so much for reading!

Trendsetters & Cocktails Event with Mapleview!

Happy Friday Everyone!

I mentioned briefly in Wednesdays post that I was attending a Fashion event, so today I’m sharing a few snaps from the evening. It was so much fun, Mapleview really knows how to throw a gorgeous event! We had the opportunity to chat with numerous brand representatives from many different brands that are located in Mapleview mall, and snagged some awesome samples of products. Once I test them all out I’ll share my favorites in another post!

There was a gorgeous build-your-own flower bouquet station that I hit up first, the selection was amazing but of course I went straight for the mini yellow roses! I’m a huge sucker for roses <3

They had a flower wall photo booth set up for pictures, and obviously we had to have ours taken!

Next I stopped by the braid bar to get a cute side braid, which according to the hair dresser was the braid of choice for the evening. It wasn’t a look that I was used to wearing myself, but I liked the change!

Next stop was to get fashion illustrations done of ourselves, how cute are these!?

I was lucky enough to have two drawings done of myself, which are both getting framed and put on my wall! The illustrations were by far the best part of the night, the artist was so sweet and soooo talented <3

The event was held at a new store that is opening for the first time this weekend called 'Station Home' in Burlington, and it was seriously stunning. The store consisted of interior decor, candles and soaps, scarves, purses, and lots more. I'll definitely be going back to pick up some of their pieces!

Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful weekend!

Louis V OOTD!

Scarf / Tank / Similar Jacket / Jeans / Boots / Bag /

Hey guys,

I hope everyone is having a good week! Todays post is an outfit I wore over the weekend for a little shopping trip with my mom. I’m loving suede lately and this moto style jacket is no exception! The colour is perfect because it goes with everything and it ties in my favorite fall booties which is a huge plus.

On another note, I spent last night turning my room up-side-down searching for an outfit to wear to a fashion event tonight. I managed to put something together inspired by the new military trend that’s been all over the runways this year! I’m planning on taking lots of pictures at the event and sharing them with you guys in my Friday post!

Talk to you soon!

So happy its Fridaaayy!

As some of you may know, and as most probably don’t know, my birthday is right around the corner (another reason why I love fall)! Which is why this time of year I always refrain from buying things for myself, saving up all that money so I can spoil myself on my actual birthday(this makes buying things waaay more exciting)! So today I’m sharing the items I’ve got my eye on this year, and I’ve actually started ordering a few of the online items so they get here in time! In the fall I tend to gravitate towards anything comfortable and cozy, which is why most of the stuff on my list is super casual!

UGGS – I’m in major need of a new pair of comfortable fall/winter boots that are good for casual days, I’ve been wearing my other pair for no joke 5 years, so it’s safe to say that it’s time for a new pair!

Swarovski Earrings – I have recently developed an allergy(?) ….or maybe just a reaction to fake earrings. I usually wear the costume jewelry ones from places like Forever21 or Aldo but my ears just wont do it anymore. It’s time for me to upgrade to a better quality earring made with better materials.

Guess Cross-body Bag – I’ve had my eye on this bag for a little while now because it looks so much like the Micheal Kors ones but for a fraction of the price. Plus, I love that it comes in a ballerina pink and is the perfect size!

Leggings – I originally wanted a new, basic black pair of LuLuLemon leggings to wear under tunics and oversize sweaters this fall. Thankfully before I purchased the LuLu’s I stumbled upon this pair from Old Navy and managed to get them on sale for only $20! They look, feel, an wear JUST like LuLuLemon pants but without the hefty price tag!

Sephora Matte Lip Colour – Can a girl really have enough lip colours??

Knit Scarf – I spied this scarf on GAP’s website a few weeks back and fell in love! I’m really hoping its as thick and cozy in person as it looks in the pictures because I am so looking forward to trying it on in the store this weekend <3 I’m a huge sucker for scarves if you haven’t already noticed haha!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!
