Friday Feature!

Yaaay another weekend is finally here, happy Friday everyone!

Today’s post is all about the lace up trend that I’ve been seeing everywhere. I wanted to talk specifically about lace up tops and dresses, because if you’ve been reading my blog for a while you’ll know we have already covered lace up shoes many times (I’m obsessed haha).

Yellow tank – here / White tee – here / Blush dress – here / Floral dress – here /

I’m loving the lace up trend because I feel like it gives off a really relaxed, and fun bohemian vibe. Throw on the lace up tank with a pair of high waisted shorts then top off your look with a felt hat and your good to go! I love that you don’t need to think about wearing a necklace or accessorizing the outfit too much because the lacing speaks for itself. This trend will definitely be on repeat in my wardrobe this coming summer!

Thanks for reading! <3

Friday Feature

Woo happy FriYAY!

I can’t believe how fast this week has flown by.. actually this whole month has gone by insanely fast now that i think about it. No complaints here though because that means consistent warm weather is approaching fast! Currently the weather is nice but there is still a bit of cold air blowing off the lake which makes it quite chilly if you don’t have a little jacket. Which brings me to my Friday feature; leather jackets!

Jacket – Here

Now I know you guys have seen me wear a few leather jackets numerous times on my blog, but I feel like you can never go wrong with one! I have 4 leather jackets in my closet (3 faux, 1 real leather) because they are soooo versatile, it’s the perfect jacket to throw on over any outfit! I especially love putting one on over a super girly outfit, to give the look some edge.

This week (and every other week for that matter) I’ve been wearing my ZARA jacket the most because it’s the one that is made from real leather and I just find it so much warmer then my faux leather ones(If you know me personally, you know i’m always cold!). However I do love buying faux leather jackets because they are usually pretty inexpensive and i’m more likely to buy one in a trendier cut or style, without worrying about them going out of style. The jacket I’m linking is a faux leather ZARA jacket but it looks very similar to my real leather one that I bought last year.

Thanks for reading guys, have an amazing weekend! <3

Friday Feature

Happy Friday everyone!

I’m so excited it’s finally the weekend! I have a busy next few days planned but it should be a fun weekend over all. Alright let’s talk about these shoes because I loove them and I just noticed they went on sale (yay)!

You guys have definitely seen me wearing these numerous times between my blog and Instagram posts but when I noticed they went on sale I knew I needed to share them again! A lot of times when new trends come out I know there are some people who get a little scared to step outside their comfort zone, and purchase something a little different then what they are used to. These were a little on the pricier side for someone who doesn’t know how often they will wear them (or for how long they’ll be on trend) but they have gone down significantly in price! I purchased this exact colour in these flats and absolutely love them, they are super comfortable and are the perfect amount of statement. What I mean by that is; they aren’t going to steal the show from the rest of your outfit but they can really make a boring jeans and tee look on trend! They colour is prefect for spring and summer and you can pair them with everything! Definitely a must-have shoe for your spring/summer wardrobe.

Here is how I styled mine:

Friday Feature

Okay… I have to tell you guys about these tops because they are amazinnnggggg! First of all they come in a ton of colours and patterns, they’re reversible so you’re basically getting two tops for the price of one, and they’re under $40!

I have 5 of these tops and have had them for a while now, they wash really well and are so easy to wear. They’re the perfect top to dress up by tucking them into a skirt or wearing under a blazer, but also look amazing dressed down with jeans and a leather jacket.

I’ve been living in mine lately because its an awkward stage between winter and spring weather, so I find myself dressing in layers. I usually just throw one of these tops on (I have various colours) and then put a jacket or cardigan over top and I’m good to go!
