So happy its Fridaaayy!
As some of you may know, and as most probably don’t know, my birthday is right around the corner (another reason why I love fall)! Which is why this time of year I always refrain from buying things for myself, saving up all that money so I can spoil myself on my actual birthday(this makes buying things waaay more exciting)! So today I’m sharing the items I’ve got my eye on this year, and I’ve actually started ordering a few of the online items so they get here in time! In the fall I tend to gravitate towards anything comfortable and cozy, which is why most of the stuff on my list is super casual!
UGGS – I’m in major need of a new pair of comfortable fall/winter boots that are good for casual days, I’ve been wearing my other pair for no joke 5 years, so it’s safe to say that it’s time for a new pair!
Swarovski Earrings – I have recently developed an allergy(?) ….or maybe just a reaction to fake earrings. I usually wear the costume jewelry ones from places like Forever21 or Aldo but my ears just wont do it anymore. It’s time for me to upgrade to a better quality earring made with better materials.
Guess Cross-body Bag – I’ve had my eye on this bag for a little while now because it looks so much like the Micheal Kors ones but for a fraction of the price. Plus, I love that it comes in a ballerina pink and is the perfect size!
Leggings – I originally wanted a new, basic black pair of LuLuLemon leggings to wear under tunics and oversize sweaters this fall. Thankfully before I purchased the LuLu’s I stumbled upon this pair from Old Navy and managed to get them on sale for only $20! They look, feel, an wear JUST like LuLuLemon pants but without the hefty price tag!
Sephora Matte Lip Colour – Can a girl really have enough lip colours??
Knit Scarf – I spied this scarf on GAP’s website a few weeks back and fell in love! I’m really hoping its as thick and cozy in person as it looks in the pictures because I am so looking forward to trying it on in the store this weekend <3 I’m a huge sucker for scarves if you haven’t already noticed haha!
Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!
I have recently learned a super easy way to get Sparkling jewelry and I thought I would share! I wouldn’t try this on costume jewelry because it can make it turn colour faster, but it works wonders on gold and silver coated jewelry.
You will need:
- Dial Foaming Hand Wash
- An old toothbrush
- A bowl with warm water
- A towel (or paper towel)
*I used the last of my Windex washing my jewelry but I wanted to photograph the bottle for reference!
Step One – Unscrew the cap of your Windex and pour a little into your bowl of warm water, just enough to turn your water a pale blue colour.
Step Two – Put your jewelry into the bowl, and let sit for 10 minutes.
Step Three – Take your Dial soap and put it on your toothbrush (as if you were putting toothpaste on it) and give your jewelry a thorough scrub, one pump of soap should be enough to clean a few of your pieces.
This step can get a little messy so make sure you do this over the sink!
Step Four – Once you’ve scrubbed up your jewelry give it a quick rise in warm water and then dry it off with a towel.
And Taaa Daa, Now you’ve got super sparkly jewelry!

I can’t believe how fast the time is going lately, its already November and the leaves have all fallen off the trees! Luckily it’s been super mild weather for this time of year, I’ve been able to go outside without a jacket most days this week which is unheard of for November in Canada. I’m trying to embrace every day of it because I know it wont be long until its freezing out. So today I wore my comfy oversized cardigan from Banana Republic which I have found myself wearing all the time. Its perfect to just throw on over a simple t-shirt and jeans to give a cozy feel to your look. It keeps me surprisingly warm considering its not a very heavy cardigan, its the perfect weight for wearing throughout the day. I love super thick cozy cardigans but I find I can’t wear them to work or throughout the day because I get way too hot, and the same goes for super thin cardi’s because I get cold (like all the time). So this one is perfect in my opinion, it keeps me warm but not too warm!
*This cardigan is sold out online so I have linked a super similar one, however it is still available is select BR stores!
