Happy Friday!!

Can we talk about how cute and summery this little pom pom top is!? I mentioned it in my ‘affordable spring clothing haul‘ post a few months back and have finally gotten around the wearing it. It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with the off the shoulder trend but these pom poms make it so much better! I feel like I should be somewhere tropical, with a big floppy hat on and a drink in my hand while wearing it hahah! Instead, I wore this outfit on a lunch date with Peter and it was just as good. We couldn’t have picked a better day to spend together, the weather was perfection.

Anyway, I mentioned in Wednesdays post that Peter and I have a wedding to go to tonight and I managed to pick an outfit up for Peter but I still have no idea what I’m going to wear. S.O.S!! I can’t seem to find any dresses that are catching my eye lately, and that actually look good on me. I’m going to run to the mall again today for a second look…fingers crossed!

Thanks for stopping by ❤

Top (no longer available) Sleeveless Version / Jeans / Shoes (on sale $23!!) / Bag / C/O Watch(same face, different strap!) / Bracelets here, here, and similar hereEarrings /

Good morning everyone!

I wore this lace tee out last week and got tons of compliments and questions about it so I figured it was blog worthy. It’s actually the same top I wore in a post back in February just in a different colour, and its grown to be one of my favorite tops! It’s from a couple seasons ago but I found the newer summer version online and linked it above, they’re basically the same top just the new one is sleeveless. I love them because the lace mixed with the rope detailing makes the top a statement on its own so you can keep the rest of your outfit really simple but still look put together. It was a hot day when I shot this look so I just wore my top with a nude bra but if I’m going out with family or friends I just throw a nude camisole on underneath and I’m good to go!

Top / Similar Skirt / Heels / Bag – Banana Republic / Necklace / Watch / Bracelets here and here  / Earrings

Good morning everyone!

The weather yesterday was perfection, so I was actually able to wear a skirt for the first time in 6 months (exciting!!). I was going for a Easter inspired look for today’s post and thought this bright blue off-the-shoulder top would be perfect for it. I wanted to avoid pairing it with pants since the weather was nice, so I went with my button up skirt, and threw on my favorite cognac heels to keep the look light. As for my accessories, I thought I would incorporate all the items that you have a chance to win in this weeks giveaway (starting Wednesday!!). I’m giving away the bag, the same cluster cuff bracelet, and this exact shade of MAC lipstick I’m wearing in today’s post, as a thank you for following along.

Also, I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who entered my stationary giveaway on Instagram this past weekend, you guys are the best<3 The winner will be announced soon!

Thanks for stopping by!

 Happy Friday everyone,

Surprise, surprise… today’s post includes another blue and white striped top (#obsessed)! They’re like wishful thinking in the form of a shirt lol! I feel like when I put them on maybe the weather will get the memo and become just as summery as I feel while wearing blue and white stripes. Anyways, now that I’ve addressed the elephant in the room, lets talk about these shoes! I don’t wear heels that often, especially ones this high but these are so easy and comfortable to walk in I couldn’t say no! I managed to snag these for 30% off last week which made them less then $50, a total steal for how cute they are! They come in 4 different colours but I chose this orangey red shade since it’ll compliment a nice summer tan beautifully. I thought I would mention too that Call It Spring is having a buy one get one 40% off sale running through this weekend, which is probably the best sale I’ve ever seen them have! Should we all just wave goodbye to our pay checks right now, or….? (just kidding!)

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!

Affordable Spring Clothing Haul!

Hey Guys,

I’m doing something a little different today and sharing some of my affordable spring/summer pieces that I recently purchased. I wanted to share these now since I probably wont get to wear them for a while, and I wouldn’t want them to sell out before you guys get to see them because I’m sure you’ll love them as much as I do. Also, I’m sure you’ll notice a bit of a blue and white stripe trend….I am actually obsessed, sorry LOL!

Flutter Sleeve Tee $32

I picked up this adorable top from Banana Republic the other day while they were having a 40% off sale. The top was marked down to $67.99 but came out to $32 after the 40% was taken off, which is a steal for a top this cute! It fits a little big, I purchased a small which is a tad roomy through the body but its not that noticeable! The flutter sleeve adds just the right amount of ‘girly’ to any outfit you pair it with 🙂

Pom Pom Top $30 / White Choker $7 / Sunglasses – Old Navy $10

I am head-over-heels for this fun pom pom off-the-shoulder top ❤ I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything so cute in my life. I feel like I need to be on a beach sipping a fruity drink just looking at it haha. I love this paired with a simple white choker and these tortoise shell sunnies I picked up from Old Navy. I purchased a size Small for reference and it fits perfectly! (I’m usually a true small)

Dress – Marshalls $12

This dress was a total steal that I found when I was browsing through the racks at Marshalls. I love the blush/mauve colour and the pleated texture it has to it, I know this one will make a perfect little dress for summer, paired with some fun sandals! The brand is called ‘Black Note’ and I purchased a size small.

One Shoulder Top $30 / Suede Choker $9 /

Okay this one-shoulder top has temped me everyday since I bought it, I want to wear it soooo badly but its still not quite warm enough here (ugh, the struggle!). I paired this with a skirt but it also looks amazing with high waisted white shorts/jeans. I went with my normal size small in this one too!

Jean Jacket – Banana Republic $30!

This jacket was another steal considering where its from, I picked it up at Banana Republic a few weeks back and the original price on it was $120 but I ended up getting it for only $30!! I figure a good dark wash denim jacket is a closet staple since it goes with practically everything. I did size down to an XS since Banana Republic’s sizes are generous!

Thanks so much for reading, and I’ll see you in Fridays post!

Happy Monday everyone!!

I’m extra happy today because I missed blogging so much after a week with the flu, I had too big of a migraine to even think about looking at a computer screen, but I’m back!! And with one of my hands down most favorite outfits…I know I say this all the time but seriously this one has topped all my past favorites because of how adorable this top is! An off the shoulder neckline, mixed with black and white stripes, and then top it off with scalloped detailing around the sleeve and hem line… I am in LOVE! You guys are going to see me living in this top all through the spring and summer with no shame at all haha! I do have to mention these heels too because I’m obsessing over this colour and the fact that they are suede..two of the biggest trends for spring in one piece. Obviously I had to try and get some roses to go with them but its not quite an exact match(booo!), but hey, a girl can try! The ribbon colour is pretty close though, right!? haha

Anyways, thanks so much for stopping by,

and I’ll see you in my Wednesday post 🙂

Spring Friendly Layers!

Good Morning,

I hope everyone is having a good week so far! Todays look is a little more layered then I was hoping for, because the temps dropped here again(booo!). I did want to keep my layers in spring friendly shades though, so I went with grey`s, blue`s  and white. If you`ve been reading my blog for a while you`ve probably noticed a pattern with me, I`m obsessed with grey and white together in spring and summer. It just looks very crisp and clean, and feels almost fresh…if that makes sense haha!

Anyways, I`m off to the gym with Peter and then out to lunch! Do you guys have anything fun panned for today? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for stopping by.
