Can we talk about how cute and summery this little pom pom top is!? I mentioned it in my ‘affordable spring clothing haul‘ post a few months back and have finally gotten around the wearing it. It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with the off the shoulder trend but these pom poms make it so much better! I feel like I should be somewhere tropical, with a big floppy hat on and a drink in my hand while wearing it hahah! Instead, I wore this outfit on a lunch date with Peter and it was just as good. We couldn’t have picked a better day to spend together, the weather was perfection.
Anyway, I mentioned in Wednesdays post that Peter and I have a wedding to go to tonight and I managed to pick an outfit up for Peter but I still have no idea what I’m going to wear. S.O.S!! I can’t seem to find any dresses that are catching my eye lately, and that actually look good on me. I’m going to run to the mall again today for a second look…fingers crossed!

Good morning everyone!
I wore this lace tee out last week and got tons of compliments and questions about it so I figured it was blog worthy. It’s actually the same top I wore in a post back in February just in a different colour, and its grown to be one of my favorite tops! It’s from a couple seasons ago but I found the newer summer version online and linked it above, they’re basically the same top just the new one is sleeveless. I love them because the lace mixed with the rope detailing makes the top a statement on its own so you can keep the rest of your outfit really simple but still look put together. It was a hot day when I shot this look so I just wore my top with a nude bra but if I’m going out with family or friends I just throw a nude camisole on underneath and I’m good to go!

I’ve fallen head over heels in love with this bodysuit/skirt combo ever since I picked it up a few weeks ago. I’ve been waiting for a perfect warm spring day to wear it, and thankfully Wednesday was gorgeous so I was able to bust it out! The whole outfit looks really pretty and feminine, perfect for a little lunch date downtown, and that’s exactly what Peter and I did on Wednesday afternoon. He had the day off because his truck was in for repairs so we took advantage of the perfect weather and snapped some pictures for the blog and then went for lunch!
My sickness (flu? strep throat?) is finally 100% gone!! So I’m excited to be able to enjoy this weekend without being cooped up in the house. I’m all healed up just in time for our City’s big music festival, its running this weekend and the next so I’m thrilled I’ll actually be able to attend!
Do you guys have any exciting plans coming up? I’d love to hear about it. Let me know in the comments!

Hurray it’s Friday!!
I’m so excited because it’s actually been warm enough to bust out the summer clothes these past few days. So obviously I had to wear my favourite top that I mentioned in my ‘Affordable Spring Clothing Haul‘ post. I love the off the shoulder detail, it makes this top so different from anything that I own! It was scorching hot here yesterday so this top was the perfect one to reach for since its very light and airy, nothing sticks to you, its not tight, and you don’t even have to wear a bra with it. All of that = the perfect summer top!
I know I’m carrying two different bags in some of these pictures, but I wanted to show you guys how cute this little Banana Republic pouch is! If you don’t carry around much, or want a vacation friendly look, the pouch on its own is perfect! I like a bigger bag myself so I bought it to keep my lipsticks and liners organized in my bigger bags. The colours and floral pattern were just too cute not to buy!
Its the long weekend here in Canada and Peter is away for a bachelor party until Monday, so all the girls and I are having a girls weekend! I’m off to run a few errands before the fun begins!
Wishing everyone a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by ❤

Happy Wednesday Friends,
I hope everyone is having a good week so far! Todays outfit is a little date night outfit I put together(or could be festival attire if you swap the jeans for black shorts!). I actually bought this top from Forever21 last summer with a matching skirt, but never got around to wearing them..haha oops! So I thought I would break the top out for this summer since this type of neckline on any shirt is super flattering. I wanted the stripes on the shirt to be the focus so I kept the rest of the outfit pretty neutral.
If you guys follow me on Instagram you may have recognized this choker because I posted the same one just in a different colour a couple days ago. I got them on major sale so I had to buy multiple. They’re great because you can wear them three different ways! The strand with the bow and tassels isn’t attached to the part with all the suede strands, so you can wear each piece separate or wear them all together, like I did here.
FYI: I’m going to be doing some major website maintenance in the next week, so if things look a little weird/different just bare with me! Thanks in advance ❤
See you in Fridays post! 🙂
Happy Monday guys!
Last week I spent a day with my sister Jess, and my bestie Rebecca (you may recognize the name from our BFF Tag) hiking and exploring local conservation areas, and we got to talking about fun things we want to do this summer and it inspired me to sit down and start my list. I always enjoy reading other people’s ‘bucket list’ posts so I thought I would share it with all of you, and challenge you to start writing down the things you want to do this summer! Wether it be activities or even goals you want to accomplish, I find when you write them down your more likely to do them.
Is there anything I’m missing!? Let me know in the comments 🙂

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
Todays outfit is one that I wore to a local event last night for Fluers De Villes at Mapleview, I’m going to recap the event for you in Fridays blog post so I don’t want to spill too many details. If you guys have me on instagram you have probably already seen a few behind the scenes snaps I added to my story last night 😉 It was a truly stunning event.
Anyways, I picked up this little blouse last week and fell in love with it instantly, its very feminine, and super flattering…especially through the waist! The slight peplum detailing has just the right amount of volume without being over the top, the look is very stream lined and flirty. Banana also came out with a matching ‘soft short’ (the ones I mentioned in my April favs post) which would look so cute paired together for a Sunday brunch or baby shower.
Also, high five to anyone who noticed that my hair is different in today’s post! I finally changed it up and I’m sort of loving it, so you”ll probably be seeing more of it this summer ❤
Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll see you Friday 🙂
