I thought I would keep todays look pretty simple with a black and white outfit to let my bag steal the show. I love that fanny packs are back and majorly improved since the 90s, this red quilted one gives me Gucci Marmont vibes, but is only $40! I don’t know how often I would wear a fanny pack day-to-day but they are definitely something I could pull off at a festival or concert, I love the practicality of them.
In other news, I thought I would fill you guys in on my facial nerve damage that I mentioned a few posts ago. My lip/chin/gums have almost completely regained feeling after a month and a half. So fingers crossed that I wake up one of these days with the feeling completely regained!!
Also, I’ve got a giveaway coming up on my Instagram in the next few weeks so if your not already following me, do it asap!
For todays post I’m talking all about my favourite face masks. With the popularity of masks and multi masking picking up steam in the beauty world lately, I thought I would give you guys a lineup of the best face masks for different skin concerns. I was so fortunate to team up with Vichy Laboratories on this post to bring you guys some amazing products and recommendations. I’ve been a huge fan of Vichy Laboratories for years – their products are such great quality(a little goes a long way), good for your skin, and their Mineralizing Thermal Water is amazing. They use it in all their products, to strengthen for stronger, healthier-looking skin. So lets get right into the post!
In the summer I always crave that effortless dewy glow. The one that looks like you just came back from the most relaxing vacation ever, with super hydrated glowing skin. I find myself searching for products that can fake the glow for me(highlighters, shimmer lotions ect.) until I found my new favourite face mask! Vichy Quenching Mineral Mask is amazing for hydrating your skin and actually giving you a natural healthy glow. I noticed the results from it the next morning after my very first use, and I’m not kidding when I say I’ve been using it almost everyday since. I’m obsessed! After a long cold wintermy skin was super dry and dull, but after trying this mask I’ve been waking up to this gorgeous subtle hydrated sheen to my skin, its amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this mask, you have to try it if you need some extra moisture!
The pore purifying clay mask is amazing for unclogging pores and getting rid of any access oils without over drying the skin. So if you have oily or acne prone skin this one would be perfect for you! You can apply it all over your face – or give multi masking a try and only apply it to your oily spots and apply a different mask everywhere else. I actually used this mask this morning in my T zone, because thats where I tend to get oily and it left my skin feeling so fresh and smooth after! You can definitely feel the purifying effects. My Favourite multi masking combo is this clay mask in my T zone, and a hydrating mask on my cheeks and chin.
The Double Glow Peel Mask is great for hydrating the skin and gently exfoliating away any dead skin cells and impurities. Its made with Vitamin C, AHA and volcanic stone, and smells like peaches and happiness! After using this mask my skin felt sooo soft and smooth. My skin tone was even and looked noticeably brighter too! I love this whole collection of masks because my skin looks and feels noticeably healthier after each use, which makes me really excited to branch out more into Vichy Laboratories products to see what other kind of results I can see.
Thanks so much for stopping by,
and a big thank you to Vichy Laboratories for collaborating with me on this post!
Thankfully the weather here has finally decided to warm up enough that I’m able to start shooting spring looks again(hurray!!). I picked up this dress a couple weeks ago and have been dying to show you guys. It’s the perfect piece to have in your wardrobe for the spring and summer! You could wear it to baby showers, engagement parties, birthdays, or just out with your girlfriends to a restaurant. It’s dressy but not too dressy that you can’t dress it down to wear out, which I love!
On another note; I feel like its been a hot minute since I talked to you guys and updated you on everything thats been going on in my life, so I thought today I would fill you guys in. This month has been a roller coaster for me health wise but thats okay because its almost over and I’m starting to get back to feeling myself again. I started the month with a bad flu, which luckily went away riiiight before my wisdom teeth surgery, which unfortunately left me with nerve damage in my face. The nerve damage is preventing me from having any feeling in my bottom lip, chin and gums, which is the weirdest thing to get used to. You know when you get a cavity filled at the dentist and they freeze your mouth? it feels like that but all the time. It’s crazy. So I’m currently learning to live with that as well as a lot of swelling in my bottom lip(these pictures were taken before the surgery). They don’t know if I’ll get the feeling back or not so fingers crossed!! Has anyone else experienced this before? If so I’d love to hear from you <3
Thanks for much for stopping by – I’m linking my details + a few more spring dresses below!
I found an amazing recipe the other day from Tasty- you know those food videos that are always all over Facebook? Well Tasty has an app too and I downloaded it the other day. The verdict: Its a total game changer if your looking for easy to follow and delicious recipes. This passed weekend I made an Easter dinner for my family and wanted to try something new for dessert, so I was scrolling through the app and found a super easy(and totally delicious) fruit cobbler recipe that I think will be perfect for any occasion this spring and summer. Whether you’re having a backyard BBQ with friends, or celebrating a birthday/anniversary, this was such a light and fresh dessert that is super easy to make and even easier to scarf down! I thought I would share it with you guys incase your not a professional chief/baker in the kitchen(like myself lol!) but want to whip up something for someone special. I made a few modifications to the original recipe since I like lots of fruit in my cobbler and I didn’t want to use a cast iron pan – so I’ll tell you guys exactly what I did below!
Easy Peasy Fruit Cobbler Recipe

Pour cake mix on top evenly (do not stir)
